This project proposes a new sustainable school campus in Frosinone conceived as an open, porous and socially active educational environment. Designed as an nZEB (near Zero Energy Building), the project integrates architecture, landscape and community into a single regenerative system.

At the urban scale, the school acts as a new cultural and ecological hub within the city’s study and sports district. New pedestrian and cycling connections, permeable green infrastructures and a “horizontal forest” landscape strategy transform the site into a connective public environment, strengthening links between education, sport and nature while promoting sustainable mobility and urban resilience.

At the architectural scale, the building is defined by a timber structural grid that generates a permeable envelope and layered bioclimatic spaces. Semi-open galleries, green patios and a central courtyard enhance daylight, natural ventilation and environmental comfort, while flexible learning environments extend toward outdoor spaces. The result is a low-impact, climate-responsive school where architecture and landscape operate as a single living system.
