The tennis sport club near Cagliari, Sardegna, is thoughtfully conceived as a unique oasis, seamlessly blending vast archipelagos of relaxation with the rich natural beauty of the surrounding local vegetation. Carefully designed to foster a strong and welcoming sense of community, the club places a special emphasis on encouraging social interaction and nurturing a collaborative team spirit, effectively bringing people together around their shared passion for the sport of tennis. Beyond recreation, it also serves as a valuable pedagogical opportunity, actively promoting learning, personal growth, and development through engaging sport activities. Each letter of the word SPORT reflects a fundamental core value of the club:
Social connection
Pedagogy and growth
Oasis of calm
Relaxation
Teamwork
This thoughtful vision creates a harmonious and balanced environment where members have the chance to continually improve their game, fully enjoy the natural surroundings, and build lasting friendships and relationships that extend beyond the courts. The club will be powered by photovoltaic energy generated from a solar panel roof installed over the parking area. This sustainable setup will harness sunlight to produce clean electricity, reducing the club’s reliance on non-renewable energy sources and lowering operational costs. By utilizing the parking roof for solar panels, the facility maximizes space efficiency while contributing to environmental conservation and promoting renewable energy use within the community. Such initiatives align with broader efforts to create greener, more sustainable urban environments where energy efficiency and the integration of natural elements like green spaces play a key role in enhancing overall quality of life and ecological balance.
