Designed for ICONCI
The assignment to design the entire stand at marmomac 2025 is in line with the brand's intention to renew its image through the launch of two new product collections under the creative direction of b&a. behind the main scenography, the stand is articulated through a sequence of monolithic boxes, each showcasing a different travertine treatment on the exterior and a distinct typology on the interior. these volumes act as silent stages where the pieces of the collections emerge as sculptures, allowing visitors to read the material, its finishes, and its expressive potential through a curated spatial rhythm. the stand was awarded the marmomac–forbes best communicator award for its concept—simple yet highly elegant—recognized for the coherence of its material language and its remarkable ability to capture and hold the visitor’s attention through the expressive power of marble.
The stand presents a new entire telluric collection of bath and wellness sculptural essential elements melting with the floor and exalting the Travertine character. The Splash collection (with bathtub, sink, shower and accessories) blends with the ground and the surface, creating a sensation of lightness and fluidity in contrast with the hardness of the stone, resulting in sculptural effect and playing with light and reflection.
A fluid landscape of stone.
As does the Combi collection which proposes the same concept but varying the materials in a play of different combinations.
Ultimately, the design seeks to highlight the essence of the work of I Conci:Travertine, tradition, innovation, stonework, attention to detail and variety of combinations.
